  As usual, our stay at the Coral was lovely. Amy, the manager was extremely pleasant, helpful and hospitable. The unit (D1) was clean, well kept and perfect for our family. The grounds are spotless, the fishing dock in great shape and a location that is convenient and surprisingly quiet. The patio area features a communal gas grill and tables with umbrellas which is perfect for lunch while swimming/sunbathing (the kids never want to leave the pool area). 10/10 recommend!

  This is our third visit at the coral resort. If truly is a hidden gem. We love fishing off the private dock, and watching the occasional dolphin or other marine life swim by. My only complaint is the air went out the first night we were there. I don’t know it was working to begin with. Once it reached 84 degrees in the room I made the call to the property manager, Susan. She was so helpful. It was way past hours and she met with us to figure something out. She was able to move us to a condo with working air for a few nights while we waited for the other one to be fixed. Thankfully, it was replaced.
  There was also some mold under the bathroom sink. I wasn’t as impressed with this condo as I was with the ones from before. It absolutely does not effect me from going again next year. The manager is as sweet as can be, and overall the cleanliness is top notch! I look forward to our stay again.

  Our stay at the Coral Resort so exactly what we needed. The grounds were super clean and the office staff was amazing!!!!! The pool area was immaculate. They are strict with their policies on no food by the pool and no drinks close to the pool, and DO NOT walk on the grass. But we understand, rules are there for a reason. I only wish they had a rule for a smoking area. We are not smokers and it was hard on us to smell that everyday but that’s just us. Loved that they had 3 washers and dryers (free) on the grounds. The one bedroom units have everything you need. The beds were comfy (the pull out couch was just ok but doable). Our unit can use some new furniture as it was pretty dated and had an old wood smell to it but we got used to it. The a/c worked great!!! Overall great experience!!! Definitely would stay again when we return to Clearwater.

  We loved the proximity to the beach and the night life of Clearwater Pier, the pier in the back, the pool, washing machines and drier (old but they work), fully stocked kitchen (could use a new stove, getting very old)
  Cons- the beds are very uncomfortable and after a few nights our backs ached! The tub had some plumbing issues and wouldn't drain well. After 2 adults and 3 kids showering the tub was 3/4 full.
  We would come back to the resort but not this unit. (d1)

  We have stayed in D1 a few times years ago. Although it appeared nice the stinch of cleaner was so strong it never left the apartment. Windows open, etc. Then there was the bug issue. We didn't have this issue in our 2nd apartment during the same time frame. The property manager was super sweet and professional, but after going into D1 to witness the strong cleaning smell and the bug infestation there was never a discount offered to my mom.
  Coral Resort overall is a nice and quaint place. This will not detour us from visiting again as this place brings great memories of family get togethers from when I was younger.

  This was our second year staying at the resort. It was our first year in this unit. We was very happy with the unit. The only thing that would make the unit better would be getting softer/longer mattress. I'm only 5'4 and my feet hung off the end of the bed and it was a hard mattress. The couch also has a board under the cushions so the couch was hard. Fully supplied unit including beach towels, chairs and sand toys for small kids. We will be returning to the resort again next summer!! The staff is also great and helpful

  Our family suggested Coral Resort for a recent trip to Clearwater Beach. It was just what our family needed, small enough where the guests know each other after the first day.
